V... Vaughan is an artist with a passion for recording the landscapes of North America. In her home state of Texas and across the country she drives her Ford pickup truck catching her impressions on canvas.
V... comments, “My favorite subjects are wild places and around the countryside near America's small farms. In 2007, I completed 365 daily small works depicting my family's Last Year on the Farm. The paintings were featured at various museums and venues, and received great revues." Vaughan's art hangs in galleries across the West, including Act One in Taos, NM.
Vaughan is an experienced teacher, specializing in helping her workshop students learn to capture quickly their impressions and sense of place on canvas, so that memories of travels can be shared and remembered long after returning home. She leads workshops from Colorado to Massachusetts, and is an instructor for the acclaimed Fredericksburg Artist's School in Texas. Combining her expertise with the beauty of New Zealand, your week with V... will be special, to be sure!
