About Southern Cross ArtVentures
We are a group of artists who love New Zealand! Named for the Southern Cross Constellation, SCAV is designed to treat you to a holiday just for painters! Adele Earnshaw and sister Joanne Hanson, are native New Zealanders. Joanne's husband Jim, and Joe and Anne Garcia are American, but have spent so much time in Aoteaora they can almost call themselves Kiwis. Adele and Joe are both full-time artists, and are known also for their fun painting workshops in the U.S. and Europe.
Adele, Joe, Anne, Jim and Joanne created Southern Cross ArtVentures to accommodate students' requests for painting trips to Adele's native New Zealand. Students requested to see as much of the country as possible while they paint. So, SCAV takes students to a different outdoor studio each day. See the sights and paint to your heart's content as your partner or spouse enjoys the activities surrounding each beautiful and interesting site.
